Last time, I believe I mentioned I had to go deal with the zombie apocalypse? For background context my school has a student-run Zombies vs Humans event every semester, which runs for a week and is probably the event everyone looks forward to the most. This semester things went… interestingly to say the least.

Day 1
The infection began at noon on Monday. The old nursing center has been torn down in preparation for a new building, but in doing so, it released a contagion that infected those unfortunate to be too close. They then proceeded to do their best to pass the infection to anyone they met.
…I lasted about ten hours. It turns out zombies like to hang around the gym late at night and I did not take this fact into account. Let it also be known that rock-paper-scissoring, even for my life, is not my strong point.
I lost. I proceeded to die.
Day 2
Quiet. Fellow zombies killed a few more humans. Their headquarters got invaded I think. I didn’t do much. (In reality, I was too busy on that day to do anything other than school)
Day 3
I teamed up with a couple of zombies to chase down a couple of stragglers on their way out of chapel. Unfortunately they got away. I did try to corner another few outside the cafeteria, but they just shot me. Unluckily for them, I can only die once.
That night was also fun. The humans were escorting an important executive from one location to another, so we decided to launch a raid and see what havoc we could wreak. The executive got away. We converted three more humans to our side. Certain irritating individuals did not get caught.
Day 4
…I have no memory of this day. I think we tried to catch Owen.
Day 5
I didn’t have anything else to do, so I decided to go human hunting. Got nearly fifteen zombies to join me. Another certain irritating individual survived via the same method that got me killed… rock-paper-scissors. Camped out for a while, but eventually let her go; we had a bigger kill in mind.
UNFORTUNATELY another human was keeping an eye on them and was able to alert our prey to our presence. They were smart. We did our best to pull off our epic plan, but it did not go nearly as well as it would have if we had the element of surprise on our side. Oh well.
Day 6
Final mission. The zombies did their best to stop them, but the humans finally managed to obtain a cure for the infection. I had the honor of the first to be revived, and then I was able to defend others while they revived more zombies. In the end, the infection was eradicated and everyone was able to come home happy.
… until the next time.

So that’s everything! Was this an event you would have enjoyed? If you want to hear about what happened last semester, and what I did after the fact (Hint: it involved a great deal of writing), leave a comment down below!

What school is this? XD
Loved this! This is what college life is like and something I miss! However, I did a couple of fun and crazy things on my recent trip to Africa with my team mates.
